What are DTF prints?
DTF prints are designs printed onto a special film, then heat pressed onto fabric. DTF stands for direct to film. Each print carries its own adhesive layer and a white underbase, so colors stay vivid on any garment color, and the finish is soft, stretchy, and ready to press straight out of the pack.
What is DTF printing?
DTF printing (direct to film) prints your full-color artwork onto PET film, coats it with adhesive powder, and cures it so it is ready to press. Do I need special equipment or skills to apply these transfers?
Not at all. If you have a standard heat press, you have all you need for DTF on garments. For UV DTF, no heat press is required, just peel and apply to the clean surface. Our transfers come ready to press with simple instructions. No professional training or complex setup required. (In a pinch, you can use a home iron for DTF, though a heat press will give the best results.)
